Life in a Metro

Life in a Metro

Delhi Auto. ##Selfie Tym##
Delhi that too in May.. most of people don't like Delhi, but I liked it allot. Morning was too good, weather was awesome, there was a different feel in that weather. Or probably it was just me who was feeling it different :D.

Captivating ancient monuments, fascinating museums and art galleries, architectural wonders, lotz of trees on both the sides of long roads, green and yellow coloured autos, red and white structured construction everywhere reminding me the age of ancient India, fabulous eating places and bustling markets!!! Raj path, India gate, Jan path, Rastrapati Bhavan crossing all these historical places we reached our guest house and I was more excited.

Every step I was taking towards my adventures trip, I was more fun, more joy and more excited.
And yes nature was also I guess. It was welcoming us with rain :D.

Its Highway!!! Delhi To Manali.. NH1
we are coming..
We left Pune, it was raining, we reached Delhi, it started raining, I don't know it was good or bad, but it was a signal. And I loved it!!

After some rest, we went to Palika bajar, connaught place, local market in Delhi where you can get anything if you have good bargaining skills..

Experienced Metro for the very first time & went to chandnichowk, parathawali gali, ate parathas & Lassi .. It was yummy .. I can still remember the gr8 taste!! I m loving it :)..

we had a funny incident while going to Red Fort..If you ask any autowala there about "RED FORT", nobody knows.. There is  "LAL KILA", but no RED FORT ;). catched auto & told autowala to drop us at Red Fort. God knows what he listened & he dropped us at M
After eating to the fullest we returned to our stay as we were loosing tym. We had to catch our bus from pahadganj to manali.

A Dream called SAR PASS!!!

Shaame malang si
Raate surang si
Baaghi udaan pe hi na jaane kyun
Ilahi mera jee aaye aaye
Ilahi mera jee aaye aaye

Finally the day is here.. waiting from last 6 months for this dream come true, the dream of sar pass.. the dream of mountains.. the dream of snow.. and the dream of everlasting HIMALAYA's..

Lotz of planning, adventure, daydreaming about how it would be and now its going to happen..

Yes m going to trek sar pass on 1st June with other 49 members of my group and for those 11 days we all will be called SP32!!! (among these only 41 arrived!! Never mind )

I am frightened from inside, nobody knows how much I am!!! The thought that I will be with some strangers for next 11 dayz and that too in a strange place, where I have never visited before, where I will be watching nd playing with snow for the very first time, and most of it I will be trekking to sar pass!!! No matter how frightened I am, more than that I am excited and able to overcome my fear..

This will be lyftym experience..
Nd this is nt ma last..
Its just a start for something new..
something demanding.. something more achievable!!!

Its thrilling me everyday.. everyday i wake up, I think can I do it?
& i don't get answer for a long tym... but finally i get only one right ans..
I Will never know unless I do it once... n yes I will do it, i can... nd most importantly I Have to😊😊😊

This is how i started my journey for sar pas.starting with the decision. To start a journey, first thing you need to do is take decision and rest all happens, you make it happen. It involves all, convincing your parents, convincing yourself, gathering more and more friends, preparing the plan (which will change afterwords ;) ), lotz of shopping, bus and train tickets, packing your bags for the final day, and most importantly counting dayz left!!!

@Puna Station.. Waiting for Train :)

I decided to trek in 2015 june 1st batch, with my friends, some known people, some unknown buddies (which are now my friends :) ). Packed everything clothes, thermals, vanity kit, medicines, eateries, charger, power bank, etc.. starting from smallest thing to the biggest ones lyk shoes, jackets and all. I didn't wanted to skip a single, tiny thing which may lead to discomfort, so planned in advance and packed in advance.

We took our train from Pune to delhi : Goa Express. Started our journey. Reached delhi on Sat morning. First tym in delh, diwalo ki delhii. We took auto from nijamuddin station to kali badi, our guest house. I must say the train journey was good experience for a first timer :D !!! Not too good, not too bad. We ate a lot, played a lot, discussed a lot and tried a lot to change Ankit's mind about the trip, no matter he didn't came with us :(
